Community Counseling Center of Ashtabula County in Ohio has a comprehensive addiction and substance abuse recovery program for adolescents, adults and seniors. They also have programs that are geared to adults who are incarcerated, recently released and on probation. There is another program specifically for women who have children and are struggling with opioid use. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available for those who require it. They also provide psychiatric treatment, counseling, medication and case management for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
The psychiatry department program offers treatment and support to individuals struggling with a vast array of disorders and conditions. They provide support to those with schizophrenia, ADD, bipolar disorders, mood and personality disorders and behavioral and addiction issues. Psychiatric and medication services are available for children, teens and adults. Medication management and education are provided to help manage symptoms and minimize side effects with the right regime of psychotropic medications.
Individual, family and group therapy are offered here as well as peer support programs. There is crisis intervention for those who are in crisis and community support for those who may just need a little extra support handling life and addiction.
Individuals can be referred formally through the courts, medical professionals and hospitals and community or government services. If an individual does not meet the criteria to receive treatment through CCC then they will be referred to and given information on the appropriate resources for their situation.
Crisis intervention and assessments through crisis appointments are available. There is a Maternal Opiate Medical Supports (MOMS) program for young women who have either just had a baby or are currently expecting a child. This program seeks to offer the support necessary for mother and child to have a positive, sober, healthy life.
Community Counseling Center of Ashtabula County accepts most insurance including state and federal programs. They also have self pay plans and financing assistance for those without insurance or the ability to pay.
