Community Healthlink’s Faith House and Beryl House is a 25 bed residential recovery home for women affected by substance misuse and mental issues in Worcester, Massachusetts. They provide a safe and supportive recovery community where you can remain laser focused on your recovery journey. Each house includes two rooms designed for pregnant women and those who have recently given birth. This ensures a nurturing space for mothers and their babies.

The program fosters empowerment, personal accountability/responsibility and independent living. You’ll learn practical life skills to help you build stability and live a substance free and productive life. They offer various supportive services designed to support your recovery journey. This includes personalized substance use treatments, mental health counseling and group therapy.

Group therapy inspires healthy community support and engagement via peer interaction. It provides a judgment free environment where you can connect with others facing similar challenges. Sharing stories and listening to others can help you gain new perspectives and ideas for coping. They also provide domestic violence counseling, health education and personal development classes to help you build a more stable life.

You’ll take part in vocational training to build practical skills, develop job-related knowledge and get ready for work. Their parenting skill development program helps you build positive parenting strategies, improves communication with children and supports a stable family environment. They also offer life skill training and case management services. The latter may involve care coordination, patient advocacy and connection to community resources like affordable housing and medical care.

These services align with the program’s core goal of helping women attain lasting sobriety and ensuring the homeless receive housing support. They also strengthen families and encourage healthy family dynamics through parenting skills and support. They can connect you to full time employment and set you up for an impressive career path through their case management services. This will overtime improve your quality of life, health and wellbeing. It also encourages sober living and commitment to self care.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. At Evoke they use a holistic model of addiction care that includes using 12 step programs. These programs are an integral part of most relapse prevention plans and provide continued support and accountability that support sobriety.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Medically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Sober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Adult Program

Young Adult Program
