About Community Mental Health Services – Holland
Community Mental Health Services is located in Holland, Michigan. They offer help with substance use disorder or SUD, mental illness and behavioral health. Their SUD treatment consists of case management, outpatient therapy, group therapy, and they have recovery coaching available. They also help with severe mental illness and emotional disturbances. You can get individual, family or group therapy here and they have 24 behavioral health emergency services.
They have psychiatric services and they help with intellectual/developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Some unique services they offer here are the Senior Reach and CredibleMind programs. Senior Reach helps older adults who live in Ottawa County maintain their independence. If you’re 60 or older and have difficulty with emotional issues, poor physical health, substance use, social isolation, physical abuse or neglect or suicidal risk factors then they’ll help you here with case management and community support.
CredibleMind is a place where you can find online resources for health and wellness around your community. You can find information or potential help with seasonal depression, managing anxiety and stress and several other mental health topics.
They have a drop in program that’s a peer support group run by adults with mental illness for adults with mental illness. Plus, they have a really cool program called Clubhouse. This program awards scholarships to people who aren’t eligible for their services but need them and allow them to get the support they need. They also have a jail diversion program and provide psychiatric services to inmates to improve their mental state.
What I really like about this treatment center is the unique services they provide like Senior Reach and Clubhouse Program along with the drop in center and jail diversion program.
