About Compass Health, Inc. – Columbia
The McCambridge Women and Children’s Treatment Center is part of the Compass Health Network in Columbia, Missouri. They treat women and adolescents who have substance abuse and mental health issues. Guests will receive a comprehensive assessment to help decide the best treatment program. A nurse’ll be there to support your gender-specific needs, which include pregnancy, family services, and parenting classes.
They realize that treatment is unique to everyone and offer a range of services to meet the needs of each individual. This person-centered approach helps pregnant women obtain community resources while receiving care. Group and individual counseling is part of treatment, and you’ll have peer support to help guide you through recovery. Here, you’ll gain skills to help you manage your addiction and become healthier. Their treatment is centered around the idea that addiction has several components, consisting of psychological, biological, and social. Withdrawal management and medically assisted treatment are offered to help ease symptoms and reduce cravings. These meds are approved by the FDA and are customized to your specific needs and are primarily used for opioid treatment.
If needed, you’ll receive a transitional housing referral. One of the most beneficial aspects I found was the availability for women to bring their children under the age of 12 with them while in treatment.
