About Compass Health Network – Warrensburg Adult Residential – Warrensburg

The Compass Health Network Warrensburg Adult Residential program provides comprehensive substance abuse disorder treatment for adults. Compass Health uses a multifaceted approach with a wide array of treatments. The residential facilities feature experienced medical staff and modern amenities in a safe, comfortable environment.

Staff performs a comprehensive assessment of all clients before creating individualized plans. They treat drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Clients with severe symptoms of addiction need close monitoring during treatment, and that’s what inpatient care allows for. Clients live on campus while receiving treatment and have access to medical services that support recovery. Clients also engage with one another as part of the program.

At the center of treatment is counseling. Clients receive individual, group, family, and codependency counseling that explores unhealthy mindsets, stressful triggers, and healthy coping skills to replace substance use. Counseling also promotes social skills needed to build a support network during recovery.

MAT is an evidenced back approach to treating alcohol and drug abuse disorders. When used with therapy and counseling, MAT can increase overall treatment success and reduce addiction symptoms. Pharmaceutical staff manages and delivers MAT to ensure clients get the right drugs at safe and effective doses.

The impact addiction has on the mind can lead to the development of mental illness disorders. Likewise, pre-existing disorders can worsen addiction. Co-occurring disorder treatment expands care plans into a whole person approach by uncovering and addressing issues related to an addiction diagnosis.

Co-occurring disorder treatment integrates additional therapy into a client’s treatment plan. Traditionally, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBY) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) modalities are used. Both focus on promoting self awareness and mindfulness to develop a deeper understanding of emotions, emotional responses and how they influence decision making.

Compass Health Network is accredited by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
