This program offers onsite clinical support for adult males dealing with co-occurring disorders crisis. They accept referrals from local hospitals, detox centers and outpatient programs among others. You’ll be housed in a fully equipped five-person apartment that offers structure while allowing for privacy and independence. This facility boasts many recreational equipment to satisfy the recreational needs of men who come here.

The area is moderately busy with easy access to city amenities and transportation. The facility is close to the I-84, providing direct route access to nearby Cheshire, Danbury and Hartford. Route 8 also runs through Waterbury and links to Naugatuck and Bridgeport.

Family counseling is provided to strengthen your support through positive family dynamics. Additionally, you’ll attend psychoeducational classes to gain better insight into addiction and mental health. Psychiatric care, including assessment and medication management, are integral components of the program in line with integrated care delivery.
The program also incorporates peer support. This lets you connect with others who understand your journey and can offer guidance and encouragement. You’ll be assisted with discharge planning and referrals to facilities that provide lasting assistance depending on your core needs. They may also link you to community resources that support sustained recovery via case management. These resources may include medical care, job placement and safe housing.
