About Core Recovery – Phoenix
Core Recovery is a private mental health and substance abuse treatment facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Their mission is to make behavioral health treatment accessible to all, to eliminate the lingering stigma surrounding mental illness. They serve teens and adults.
The staff at Core Recovery rely on evidence-based treatment methods to ensure clients receive high-quality care. Clients work closely with staff to develop an individualized care plan that meets their unique needs. Services include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP).
The PHP offers high-level outpatient treatment. Clients participate in five-hour sessions five times per week while continuing to live at home. The intensive, highly structured environment includes evaluation, counseling (individual, group, and family), art therapy, development of coping skills, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and case management services. PHP clients can also transition into a lower level of care.
The IOP is less intensive than PHP and meets less often (three to four sessions each week, each lasting three hours). Clients in IOP participate in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, EMDR therapy, and case management services.
Core Recovery accepts most major insurance plans. However, because in network and out of network benefits can vary, clients should always make it a point to confirm their coverage with their insurance provider before enrolling in treatment.
