About Counseling Care – Lake Elmo
Counseling Care is an outpatient counseling center in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. They’re a Christian faith based organization, so the counseling here has a Christian basis. They work with adults as well as kids and teens on any issues you may be struggling with, including drug and alcohol addiction.
At this facility the main focus is on individual counseling. The therapists will work with you one on one to address the root causes of your addiction and help you develop new ways of thinking and life skills that will help you stay sober. They can also help you through the issues that affect your addiction like trauma, anxiety or depression.
Since this is a Christian counseling center, the treatment here does have a spiritual foundation. For Christian clients or for those interested in Christianity this can be a beneficial part of addiction recovery.
All of your counseling will be customized to you and what you need for this journey in your life. You can supplement your individual counseling with family counseling and couples counseling to help rebuild the relationships that have been hurt by addiction. It’s worth noting as well that for self pay clients they have a sliding scale so you can get your treatment at a cost you can afford.
Some clients have expressed frustration with the scheduling and billing aspects of this center. However, clients overall are thrilled with the counseling itself. They say the therapists here are compassionate enough to listen and knowledgeable enough to guide them in their recovery.
