About Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center – Williamsburg
Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center is an addiction treatment center for men and women 18+ in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. They have detox, residential, partial hospitalization, outpatient, medication assisted treatment, and dual diagnosis programs. They also have a special faith based track and specific program for veterans. The programs are accredited by CARF, so you know they meet a professional level of care.
When you’re admitted, you might need detox. Detox is done inpatient, but does not include hospital services. However, there is medication like buprenorphine that can be given to help with withdrawal pains. The medical staff monitors you 24 hours a day. The typical stay is three to five days.
After detox, you’ll be assigned to the inpatient program. There’ll be individual and group therapy, along with 12 Steps and family counseling sessions.
After inpatient is done, you’ll descale your services in an outpatient program. You’ll have more flexibility as you transition back to your home life. Partial hospitalization care is a day program, leaving your evenings free to work on your recovery.
At all stages, you can partake in Christian healing, in which you develop your spiritual core as a means to cope. You can also attend music therapy, in which the staff and your peers can give concerts. Some of the songs are original, and the concerts are done in a semi-professional setting. Concerts are held once a week.
