Covenant House California offers housing programs and outpatient medical and mental health services to young adults aged 18-24 in Los Angeles, California. Services include employment and education support, spiritual support of all faiths, emergency shelter for youth ages 13-18, and outreach to homeless and indigent young adults.
Medical services at Covenant House include primary and urgent care, immunizations, and education. Mental health services include individual and group counseling, as well as referrals to more intensive services such as alcohol and drug rehab treatment.
Housing services include emergency housing programs, two-year residential programs that prepare residents for independent living, and assistance finding permanent housing with 24 months of support from Covenant House.
Job support services include internship programs and classes in job searching and interviewing skills. Education support includes tutoring, mentoring, help with a GED, and English as a Second Language classes.
