About Credo Community Center – Patricia Pond Hinkley Women’s Residence – Watertown
The Credo Women’s Community Residence in Watertown, New York, is an alcohol and drug rehab for women who are 18 or older. This program can take up to 15 women in a group home setting where the average stay ranges from six to twelve months.
The length of stay is relatively long here, but the program is also more comprehensive than many others. Residents learn parenting, relationship skills and budgeting in addition to learning about addiction. There is workout space in the residence, but you or your loved ones also have access to fitness resources in the community. The program case managers will help you find treatment, housing and aftercare.
They offer a few other programs in the local area in addition to the women’s residence. Credo runs an integrated therapy practice in nearby Lewis, New York. They also offer medication for opioid use disorder such as buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone.
To pay for this program, New York State residents may qualify for funding through the Department of Social Services. They also accept private insurance and Medicaid. For people without access to any of these funding options, they’ll bill you on an income based sliding scale.
