About Crossroads for Women – The Pavillons – Los Lunas
Crossroads for Women – The Pavilions, is located in Los Lunas, New Mexico, and provides sober living housing accommodations to women who are exiting a correctional facility and are living with a dual diagnosis or substance use disorder. Women are connected to critical resources that will allow them to have a strong start to their sobriety.
Women are one of the most vulnerable groups when it comes to substance use recovery. At The Pavilions, women are supported by receiving access to safe housing solutions. Research and studies show that stable housing is at the core of sustainable recovery and that housing insecurity, especially for those leaving incarceration, can contribute to continued drug and alcohol abuse. When a recovering individual is connected to a permanent housing solution, they can begin laying the groundwork for healthy habits that will define the future of their sobriety.
This facility aims to help women take that first step by offering sober living accommodations. Because women, partners, and other family members cannot live with the recovering women, all clients are given an opportunity to create meaningful change in their lives in a positive environment without distractions. All women are also served through access to critical community support services that can supplement their recovery.
