About Crowley Behavioral Health Clinic – Crowley
The Acadiana Area Human Services District operates five behavioral health clinics in southern Louisiana, one of which is the Crowley Behavioral Health Clinic in the “Rice Capital of the World,” Crowly, Louisiana.
Their behavioral health services support adults and adolescents who are experiencing struggles with their mental health. There are also dedicated programs for pregnant women, those who are injectable drug users, and others who are struggling with substance use. They also have mental healthcare services for incarcerated individuals and specialized adolescent care.
The Crowley Behavioral Health Clinic works closely with different community agencies and organizations. Through this, individuals from all walks of life will be supported in the way they need.
You find specialized programs here, but you’ll first undergo either a psychiatric or a psychological evaluation to determine what services are best for your recovery.
When you do start treatment, you can expect to work with a team of clinical social workers, counselors, and peer support specialists. There are of course medical health professionals as well to address your recovery from a clinical standpoint. Medication management is available here along with traditional counseling.
One of the benefits of seeking support here is that you’ll get connected to other community services that can support you. For example, you can get access to day treatment programs for specialized substance use recovery, housing, and supported employment so that you lead an independent lifestyle.
Through case management and other wrap around services, you can begin to find your footing toward a healthy and sober future.
