Founded in 1966, Cumberland Heights has been providing accredited addiction treatment services for decades now. This particular location is based in calm, rural Chattanooga, Tennessee — an ideal environment in which to commit to and focus on recovery. Support here is available to adults aged 18 and older. As for payment, the center accepts various commercial insurance plans, as well as self-pay.
Clients here can access drug rehab services on an outpatient basis, allowing for maximum flexibility alongside work, study, or family commitments. The program itself is guided by a 12-step philosophy and clients’ personalized treatment plans.
In addition to attending therapy, clients here are also encouraged to engage with the program’s addiction education sessions to gain a deeper understanding of their condition as they work to overcome it.
To make care more accessible, the center provides flexible treatment hours in the mornings and evenings, to work effectively around a variety of schedules. For individuals who may have difficulty making regular in-person appointments, telehealth is also an option.
For successful admission onto the outpatient program, clients must not require detox services. You must also be based in Chattanooga, or surrounding areas like Signal Mountain, Red Bank, Lookout Mountain, or anywhere within Northern Georgia, or Southeastern Tennessee. You should also have a stable home and work life, and demonstrate motivation and commitment to the recovery process.
To encourage long-term and sustainable recovery results, the center also provides continuing care services to support individuals who have completed the outpatient program. These services are available weekly, on Monday evenings.
