About Cumberland River Care Center – London
The nonprofit Cumberland River Behavioral Health is a mental health and substance abuse treatment program. Adults and children can participate in intensive outpatient programs and general outpatient programs. Their programs are culturally sensitive and tailored to each individual’s needs. They’re located in London, Kentucky.
Cumberland River’s mission is twofold. They provide accessible community care and destigmatize mental health and substance abuse care. That’s why they encourage friends, family and others close to you to participate in your treatment. Their involvement can provide critical support and educate them on how they can help you and others in recovery.
Another aspect of their program I enjoy is Supported Employment. If you’re experiencing severe mental health symptoms this program can help you secure full time or part time work. What’s really great about this program is that you’ll have support from staff for as long as you like. So you’ll have help from your care team whenever you feel you need it.
