Adapting my style to each individual’s unique struggles while primarily drawing from modern psychoanalytic theory to address substance use and other related struggles. We will work together to identify the underlying causes of addictions and ways to move forward, whether your goal is complete absence or reduction. Understanding the origins or reality of unsatisfying relationships, anxieties, and grief provides a chance for new perspectives and the possibility for lasting change/transformation. I am also informed by developmental perspectives when working with children, teens, and their families to cultivate inner capacities of growth and potential.
