About Davis Archway – Butler
Davis Archway Men’s Halfway House is a private drug and alcohol addiction treatment program in Butler, Pennsylvania. This is a residential like program for men who have completed a separate inpatient program and are seeking additional support. They have modern amenities and maintain a home-like setting and atmosphere.
The definition of “halfway house” can vary from one facility to the next. The underlying commonality is that they serve those who have completed a treatment program by giving them a place to live for an extended time before returning to fully independent living. These programs often require clients to attend recovery groups, find and maintain employment, and meet other requirements demonstrating their dedication to recovery.
One thing that I really appreciate about the Davis Archway halfway house is that it balances these important aspects of recovery with fun and socializing. In addition to attending onsite groups and having access to vocational and educational support, clients have onsite recreational amenities to help them relax. These include a horseshoe pit, a sand volleyball court, and a fire pit.
Learning to balance your responsibilities while engaging in sober activities is an important aspect of preparing for independent clean living. People sometimes exit treatment unsure of how to structure their time outside of what they learned in therapy. Davis Archway has created an environment that encourages you to enjoy yourself without taking your eye off your long term goals.
