About Dawn Farm Downtown – Ann Arbor
Dawn Farm Downtown is a 13 bed long term residential substance use recovery program in downtown Ann Arbor within Washtenaw County of Michigan. The program provides 24/7 structured support with intensive therapy and supervision for three to four months periods. It’s designed for patients moving from Dawn Farm’s detox program into residential rehab. People seeking structured support for moderate to severe substance use can also benefit from this program without detoxing.
The facility boasts a safe, homey and highly cooperative communal setting that fosters a sense of belonging and helps patients find purpose in recovery. Residents look out for each other and are actively involved in running the program from preparing meals to doing laundry and caring for animals.
This helps them build connections with others in recovery and create a strong support system for lasting success. The program supports and accommodates members of the LGBTQ+ community which is another thing we like. Sleeping arrangements are gendered. Trans and nonbinary residents are allowed to choose the option that feels most comfortable for them.
