Daymark Recovery Services of Richmond Center, which is situated in Rockingham, North Carolina, gives the local people in the area a lot of substance misuse services and mental health care for both young people and adults. I like that they are a non profit organization that aims to meet the unique behavioral healthcare needs of their community. Their levels of care include standard outpatient care and intensive outpatient care for those who require a deeper dive into their condition.

Youth who attend this program can come in for a walk in assessment then receive outpatient therapy and psychiatric medication management. This center provides specialized therapy for youth who are involved in the juvenile justice system so that they can get the help they need.

As for adults, they also offer walk in assessments for all disabilities on a first come, first served basis, but they also have scheduled appointments. Some of the services offered here that I really like include routine outpatient therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management and substance abuse intensive outpatient programs.

They also offer medication assisted treatment and use Suboxone as their primary medication that helps to reduce bad withdrawal symptoms and cravings. They offer tailored care management and assertive community treatment team services. Additional programs include integrated care through the health department, the Clean Start initiative and Work First support.

If you’re a woman who is pregnant, they also offer dedicated services to you to help you and your baby to create a healthy new start.

Some payment options accepted here include Medicaid, and while they do accept Medicare or private insurances, you must meet their policy requirements.
