About Dee’s House – Fountain Valley
Located in Fountain Valley, California, is Dee’s House, a drug and alcohol rehab center for women. The program is residential, and the house is run by women for women over 30 years old. They also offer treatment for dual diagnoses and have aftercare services.
They treat a maximum of six women at a time, so the care is very individualized. There’s a real emphasis on spiritual healing and finding your life’s purpose and reason for living. The 12 Steps are the foundation of the program, but they help you integrate the steps in ways personal to you. You’ll attend daily 12 Step meetings. Many other services are offered including group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and self esteem studies.
There’s also individual life coaching to help you with the many life issues that can trigger substance abuse. You can take nature walks and hikes, attend a yoga or meditation class, and run or walk at nearby Huntington Beach.
The center accepts many forms of health insurance, and they’ll work with your insurance company to get the most out of your coverage. They also have some financial assistance.
Women who’ve been through the program offer high praise, feeling that the small program was intimate and the staff wonderful.
