Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services — Excelsior House is a crisis residential treatment center for low-income adults experiencing mental health concerns or co-occurring disorders. They’re located in Inglewood, California. They offer housing, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling and medication support. The program lasts for up to 28 days.
The facility is comfortable and homey, with space for 14 adults at a time. They accept both men and women over the age of 18. If you’re a mother with a child under the age of six months, they can refer you to another one of their locations which provides housing for you and your child so you don’t have to be separated.
At Excelsior House, they aim to stabilize your condition so you’re able to function sustainably in your everyday life. Most of their residents either start treatment after being hospitalized or after an intensive outpatient program if they don’t want to be hospitalized.
