DISC Village – Woodville Campus is a residential therapeutic center for teens and adults in Tallahassee, Florida. Since 1972, they have offered residential, outpatient, and medication assisted treatment services.
At all levels of care, you’ll have access to medication assisted treatment, also called MAT. What this does is allow you to reduce your cravings and ease your withdrawal pains through prescription medication. The center is accredited by CARF, so there’s a professional level of care to make sure you don’t relapse or overdose. This type of treatment can give you a better start to your recovery.
The residential and outpatient programs offer a combination of counseling along with practical skills. Harm reduction tools are also available. In case you do relapse, you’ll have tools that can control the effect of drugs and alcohol. The centers are gender specific. Some also have specific programs for pregnant women or for clients under court orders. But in all cases, you’ll have 24/7 supervision from a case management team.
