About Discovery House – Mechanicsburg
Formerly known as Discovery House, Comprehensive Treatment Centers’ Mechanicsburg location is an addiction treatment center for adults in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. It’s an outpatient clinic for those who’re struggling with opioid use disorder. They provide medication assisted treatment to help you recover safely under supervision. You can pay through private insurance, military benefits, Medicare, Medicaid or self pay.
Here, they use methadone and Suboxone to help ease the physical symptoms of recovery. Both of these meds are approved by the FDA. Their goal is to understand your needs so they can develop a plan of care that’s best for you. During your time in the program, you’ll work with a team of experts who’ll help you reach your goals.
In conjunction with addiction medication, you’ll also participate in individual and group counseling services to address the psychological aspects of addiction and recovery. Your counselors will talk about the way addiction has impacted your emotional, behavioral and social life and show you how to make healthier decisions moving forward.
