About Discovery Place – Burns

Discovery Place is located in Burns, Tennessee, and provides drug recovery services to men who are living with a drug or alcohol dependence. Their recovery program provides inpatient treatment through a structured format.

Care starts with a 30-day residential program that will allow you to detox in a safe and supportive environment. After detox, you’ll begin working through a range of evidence-based and best-practice treatments including an in-depth 12 Step program to help you lay a strong foundation for the start of your sobriety.

Following this phase is the Long Term recovery program. This program continues with the 12 Step immersion approach but will include skills development so that you can build healthy habits to support your sobriety. Phase 3, or Step Down care, allows you to continue building those skills as you reintegrate into your life.

Discovery Place is unique in that after you complete the program, you will still have contact with staff and mentors even after your treatment plan is over. There are biweekly and monthly check-ins after you leave the facility to help encourage and motivate you long into your recovery.
