About Dorchester Alcohol and Drug Commission – Summerville
MAT involves giving clients FDA-approved medication over a longer timeframe to help them manage cravings and avoid relapse during treatment. Over time, clients lay a solid foundation for recovery and taper off the medication support.
There is a co-ed and women-only IOP program, and both meet four nights a week for three hours per session. General outpatient treatment meets once a week for 90 minutes per session. Outpatient care includes individual and group therapy, addiction education, life-skills training, and relapse prevention.
Dorchester Alcohol and Drug Commission may accept a variety of insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, United Healthcare, and more. Insurance plans vary, so be sure to verify coverage information and out of network benefits with the insurer.
