About East Mississippi State Hospital – Meridian
Bradley A. Sanders Addiction Center is part of the East Mississippi State Hospital network. It is located in Meridian, Mississippi. They have an inpatient program for adult men with substance abuse issues. All clients are referred from the Chancery Court due to a drug offense.
The center has 63 acres of green and woodsy land. They also have 50 beds in their inpatient program. You’ll have a range of counseling, like listening to motivational speakers, going to AA meetings, and taking classes to improve your health. There’s 24/7 supervision, which includes medical services. Your family will also receive resources to help them cope and support you. That way, you’ll have less chance of relapse.
The therapy programs are based on cognitive behavioral approaches. This means that they’ll tackle your addiction by helping you examine your underlying thoughts and how you act in response to those thoughts. Then, you can change how you think, which changes how you act.
