About Easterseals MORC – Southfield
Easterseals MORC is a thorough drug abuse treatment program in Southfield, Michigan b. They provide intensive outpatient (IOP) programs to help clients lay the groundwork for long-term addiction recovery. They accept a majority of commercial insurance plans, including Medicaid HMO plans.
Their IOP lasts eight to 12 weeks. It’s customized to each individual’s needs and includes weekly meetings. In addition, the program offers social support services, access to psychiatric evaluations and medication management and family support services.
During your time in the program, your therapist will offer individual, family and group therapy sessions once a week. Outpatient therapy is meant for people who are actively engaged in their recovery and have transitioned from more intensive services but still require continued care. It also caters to adult children of alcoholics as well as members of codependent families.
Here, they also offer services for case management. These services help the client and treatment team identify and address problems that could be impeding the course of treatment or needs that are not well met by therapy services. Their recovery peer support services help people and families get well after drug or alcohol abuse. Their peer recovery coaches are people who have undergone their own recovery process and received training to offer peer support.
A good place to start is with their early intervention services. The services are meant to be brief, instructive, and helpful in assisting the person in determining whether further treatment is required.
Problems with substance abuse and mental health frequently coexist. For individuals with co-occurring conditions, their integrated treatment plan is the most successful strategy.
This facility was established as a non-profit organization. They offer health and human services in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
