About Edwards County Medical Center – Kinsley
Edwards County Medical Center (ECMC) located in Kinsley, Kansas provides comprehensive care for Edwards County as well as the surrounding rural counties of Clark, Comanche, and Kiowa. This includes a wide range of medical specialties as well as behavioral health care like addiction treatment. There are three clinics affiliated with ECMC located in the surrounding areas that address family medicine and primary care.
ECMC offers a fully staffed 24/7 emergency room center that includes ambulance transportation for Edwards County and surrounding counties. ECMC is able to address all levels of care from minor injuries to acute trauma. The ECMC offers a variety of other medical services such as occupational and physical therapy, laboratory services and wound care. There is also an inpatient unit that provides intensive care for recovery post surgery.
The ECMC collaborates with the Iroquois Center for Human Development (ICHD) to provide mental health services that support the rural community. ICHD is a certified community behavioral health clinic focusing on whole person wellness, substance use recovery, and crisis services for all age populations. Outpatient treatment services are provided through group and individual counseling, along with family intervention.
ECMC partners with a company called Holistic Pain Management (HCM) to provide pain management services. Additional specialty clinics include cardiovascular medicine, general surgery, orthopedics and podiatry.
