About Elite Treatment Center – Chicago Heights
Elite House of Sober Living is a men’s residential addiction recovery facility in Chicago Heights, Illinois. They provide a clean, structured and affordable living environment that facilitates personal growth. They serve men over 18 at an early stage of recovery from substance use disorders. They also welcome ex-offenders, former inmates and people struggling with homelessness.
The facility boasts various modern amenities, including new beds, cable TV and DVD players. Others include new furniture, coin operated washer/dryer and designated smoking areas. This family-like residence fosters a sharing and caring culture conducive to recovery and brotherhood.
Services include assessment, peer support and recovery meetings. They may also partner with their treatment center to provide counseling and other therapeutic services. Additional services include case management, community referrals and self-help meetings like AA. Emphasis is on accountability, personal responsibility and independent living skills.
Residents must comply with the program rules including participating in household chores, maintaining a clean living space and working together with other peers as a team. They must also secure employment and attend the onsite 12 Step meetings like AA. The latter is a peer based support group in which residents share experiences with each other while working the 12 Steps. The program staff are required to follow up with ongoing support to help clients sustain their recovery.
To be accepted for this program, you must be employed or demonstrate the capability of securing employment. People who receive social security, unemployment compensation or funding from government programs may also be awarded residency.
