About EPIC Behavioral Healthcare – St. Augustine
EPIC Behavioral Healthcare Central Campus on Old Dixie Highway is a mental health treatment facility that provides outpatient counseling and substance use prevention programs for interested individuals in and around St. Augustine, Florida.
This facility currently accepts Medicaid, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue, TRICARE and several other major insurance providers. EPIC facilities operate on the philosophy that treatment should be person centered. In other words, the facility strives to ensure that each treatment plan is catered to the individual and that the individual has the power to choose their own recovery path.

From there, patients have the option of attending individual, couples, group and family counseling. Each person also has access to crisis intervention if they find themselves in a difficult situation.
The central campus also provides prevention programs designed to educate adults and children about the signs and symptoms of mental health concerns and substance abuse. These educational modules are created to teach about tobacco addictions, drugs and alcohol, the legal implications of drug use, suicide prevention and anger management. The facility also has specialized courses for parents who are struggling to cope with a child’s drug or alcohol use. These courses provide the foundation of education people need to start succeeding.
EPIC has received a three year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
