Essential Behavioral Health is a program with a branch in Sacramento, California. It’s part of the Spout Health Group network. They treat adults who are struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. They offer detox, inpatient services, and outpatient treatment.

They have upscale programming in a serene environment. They only have 6 beds so this allows a more intimate and client focused treatment. Their program includes individual and group therapy. You have the opportunity to engage in additional services such as art therapy, yoga, 12 Step programming, and mindfulness. You’re also able to have access to medication services alongside therapy to ensure proper continuity of care. You’ll also experience a holistic approach. One thing I like about this program is that they offer weekly outings that include hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.

They also have alumni services for people who complete the program as a way to ensure recovery and appropriate connection to services.

24-Hour Clinical Care

24 hour clinical care provides close medical supervision for individuals in the early stages of recovery. Medical professionals monitor individuals around the clock for complications and provide immediate intervention when needed.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
