About Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Center – Worcester
Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Support Center gives the Worcester, Massachusetts community access to peer-to-peer addiction recovery support. This center is run by volunteers and members to provide encouragement during recovery.
This is not a top-down treatment facility but rather a social organization that helps support each person’s recovery journey. This center is a safe space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. It aims to lead clients to empowerment.
A weekly schedule from Monday through Saturday includes a range of recovery related activities and programs. There may be workshops, services, meetings, social events and more. Everyday Miracles is funded by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction. There is no cost to use these services.
Although the website hasn’t been updated since 2019, the Facebook group is active and posting new content regularly. Daily programming may include recreational time, music therapy, game, movie or comedy nights, recovery meetings, service projects, gender-specific meetings, and more.
The staff at Everyday Miracles includes a program director and peer coordinators. Most of these are people who have been through their own recovery journey. Previous clients praise the welcoming atmosphere, the many sober activities and the ongoing support.
