FCC Behavioral Health has a clinic in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The Butler County Behavioral Health Clinic has outpatient programs for adults and minors who are 10 years and older. They also have special tracks for veterans. Medicare and Medicaid are accepted.
If you’re at this center, it’s usually because you’re having a crisis. This means you need immediate triage or an assessment without delay. Once you’re admitted, your main treatment will probably include a mix of individual and group therapy. There’ll be classes to help you develop new life skills and find ways to cope outside of using drugs or alcohol. You’ll learn about triggers that can fuel your behavior and how they can tie into mental health disorders. The Poplar Bluff location is near their supportive housing unit, which may be available if need be.
If your symptoms are more acute, you may be referred to one of FCC’s inpatient centers for more supervision. There’s also separate programs for adolescents and adults who have substance abuse problems.
