About Family Life Center – Decatur
Family Life Center is a faith-based, 12 step-focused drug and alcohol rehab for adults in Decatur, Alabama. They offer telehealth services, crisis intervention, medication assisted treatment (MAT), general outpatient (OP) programming, and aftercare planning and support, including specialized programming for young adults, seniors, pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, justice-involved persons, and persons with co-occurring disorders. Their general outpatient programs (OP) are designed for clients who are medically stable and who do not require high-intensity supervision, including those stepping down from inpatient treatment. Clients receive medical and mental health assessments and personalized care planning. Those in alcohol and/or opioid recovery may enroll in their evidence-based MAT program for longer-term pharmacotherapy. Clients also engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling and robust, recovery-focused life skills training addressing topics such as anger management and relapse prevention. Referrals for acute and subacute inpatient treatment are available as needed.
Their aftercare services promote a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include 12 step program facilitation, step-down support, and referrals for additional services.
