About Family Recovery Services – West Union
Family Recovery Services was an addiction treatment center in West Union, Ohio. The care team here would have helped you work through struggles you were experiencing with your mental health or substance use. Care was offered in an outpatient setting, but unfortunately, their clinic has since closed down.
When they were open, you would’ve found several different programs here. There was a day treatment program for at risk adolescents and teens as well as an opioid recovery program where you would’ve gotten connected to medication assisted treatment. There was also addiction counseling and mental health support.
Their substance use counseling services worked to help get to the root cause of your addiction struggles. If you were struggling with opioid use, medication assisted treatment would have been weaved into your program as well.
You would’ve worked with a psychiatrist and your addiction counselor to determine how MAT would best fit in your treatment plan.
West Union is a small town community where traditional values including family, community safety, and community partnerships are valued. This clinic stood out because they held a lot of these values and reflected them in their counseling approach.
For example, they offered an inviting and welcoming treatment setting and the atmosphere was now what you would’ve found in a traditional clinical facility. Because the clinic was a couple of minutes outside of the city, transportation support was available for residents throughout the surrounding Adams and Highland Counties.
This treatment center had its office in a residential neighborhood in the southwest end of town, but then they operated out of a different building located in the northern outskirts of the town.
You would not have needed a referral to seek services here, and there were short waiting windows for when you first set up your appointment.
