About FCC Behavioral Health – Adolescent CSTAR – Kennett

The FCC Behavioral Health – Adolescent CSTAR program at 1190 Jones Street in Kennett, Missouri, is on the same campus as the main treatment center and business offices of FCC. They have several levels of care to help youth who are struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Residential treatment, day treatment, intensive outpatient and supported recovery outpatient treatment programs are all available for adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17.

The residential treatment program provides medical supervision 24 hours a day and gives youth up to 60 hours of treatment, therapy, and therapeutic programming each week. The average stay in the residential program is about 60 days. They include approximately 60 hours of treatment and therapeutic activities each week to help youth overcome their addictions with healthy, positive new choices. After building strength and gaining skills to help with their recovery journey individuals are often referred to the day treatment or intensive outpatient program (IOP).

The day treatment and intensive outpatient treatment programs offer a variety of services to continue giving youth the structure and therapeutic benefits of consistent support. The day treatment program runs on weekdays. The hours for clients vary depending on their need and treatment care plan. Each youth will have some programming and therapy activities each day, along with traditional education delivered in sometimes untraditional ways. Tutors, virtual classes, and small in person classes are often used to help youth stay current on their classes while getting the help and support they need.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient programs are both delivered on campus and in the community. Treatment is gender-specific and is designed to meet the needs that adolescents have at that very fragile and pivotal phase of life. Teaching new positive life skills and coping habits while young will help set up youth to succeed.

They accept most major health insurance plans, including state and federal Medicare and Medicaid. They also have a sliding scale and financial assistance for those who are underinsured or who don’t have any insurance.
