About Felton Institute – Franklin Street – San Francisco
The Felton Institute on Franklin Street is a private outpatient (OP) addiction treatment facility, focused on treating dual diagnosis dependency and mental health disorders. Programs cater to ages 16 to seniors, persons with hearing impairments, and the LGBTQ+ community. IOP and OP support covers screening, plans for treatment, psychiatric services, and case management. IOP support can be interventional to prevent problems that leave the client vulnerable to relapse. Outpatients may be seen daily or weekly until their condition stabilizes. Clients needing higher-intensity addiction treatment may be referred for inpatient detox or drug rehab.
Recovery education and addiction counseling sessions are available on weekends, or during the week, including morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Therapies used during recovery can include cognitive (CBT) and, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma therapy, and 12 Step recovery.
