About First Step House – Central City Residential Campus – Salt Lake City
First Step House’s outpatient clinic is an alcohol and drug rehab program for adults located in Salt Lake City, Utah. They offer outpatient services that focus on mental health and substance use disorders to tenants who are living in the Medina Place Apartments.
Potential clients can expect to receive between 5-20 hours of treatment per week. You’ll be given your own treatment plan that coincides with their specific needs. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in comprehensive behavioral health assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation classes, medication management, and case management services. They offer cognitive behavioral therapy as their main treatment modality. You’ll also provide random drug screens as part of their treatment plan.
As part of the step down plans, the program will help you gain employment and can get connected to community resources post treatment. That way, you’ll be ready to head back to your community and loved ones while earning a steady paycheck.
First Step House works with most major insurance providers. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary. Financial assistance is also available.
