About Foothill AIDS Project – San Bernardino
Foothills AIDS Project is a community-based drug and alcohol addiction treatment program in San Bernardino, California. They provide outpatient services to adult clients living with HIV or aids. They also provide several outreach and support services for such clients, including housing and referrals.
Day programs are a popular form of substance abuse treatment because they allow clients to continue living at home and, unlike inpatient rehab, are available on a flexible schedule. The program is equipped to meet clients at different stages of substance abuse with a wide variety of needs. It may include individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, family therapy, social groups, education groups, interventions, and gender-specific support groups.
This program also utilizes aftercare groups. After helping clients connect with resources that help sustain recovery, such as community support groups and housing programs.
