About Freedom House – Conway
Freedom House provided alcohol and drug treatment in Conway, Arizona, until their closing. They were originally a residential treatment center for men, but they expanded to include a facility for women in 1979. Treatment was offered to adults who were over the age of 18.
They were able to provide substance abuse assessments and residential and outpatient programs. An observational detox program was also offered. The center also offered a chemical-free living center to help clients reintegrate into society.
Their residential treatment utilized an evidence based program. The program included a variety of therapeutic interventions such as relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, group therapy and adult education classes.
They were able to accommodate up to 24 men and 24 women in their residential program. The detoxification program was equipped with two beds for women and three beds for men. They welcomed 20-25 individuals per session of their outpatient treatment program.
The Conway Regional Health System was near the facility to provide healthcare services and rehabilitation. The Pinnable Mountain State Park was a short drive away. There, you could enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and watching the wildlife.
