About Friends of Youth – Issaquah
In various locations across Washington state, the Friends of Youth supports young people in succeeding. They offer behavioral health and education and employment services among other things. Their Issaquah, Washington location offers mental health and substance use counseling services. For homeless youth, they provide education and job readiness skill training. Friends of Youth accept most commercial insurance plans and Apple Health.
Their counseling services are for anyone ages 4-24. You can have a session in person or virtually. They provide one-on-one, family or group sessions. You must have an appointment for counseling.
One thing I really like about their services is their youth employment program. It helps homeless young people between 18 and 24 get ahead. From GED programs to colleges and vocational training or job-readiness skills, Friends of Youth will support you as you move up in the world.
Friends of Youth offers safe housing and transitional living. This includes pregnant or parents with young children. They also help homeless youth find and transition to permanent housing. Youth under 18 who are at risk of homelessness can get access to therapy, financial assistance, mediation, and civil rights support.
