About GAAMHA – Pathway House – Gardner
GAAMHA – Pathway House in Gardner, Massachusetts is a residential program designed for individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders. Since 1972 they have provided support for individuals who are seeking recovery and are motivated to enhance their quality of life.
During the intake process they will create an individualized treatment plan to identify your strengths and challenges, and help you set treatment goals. They offer individual counseling, family integration, life skills development training and exposure to 12 Step programming. These services can allow you to build a strong foundation for your recovery that can keep you motivated and moving forward.
What stands out to me the most is the positive feedback from previous individuals who went through the Pathway House residential program. They mentioned having ongoing support throughout the duration of treatment and structure to develop a healthy routine. They say they learned how to live life in recovery.
Something else that caught my eye was their assistance with helping you gain employment. Because they work with a variety of different local businesses they can help you get connected to employment. However, having a job is not a requirement to stay here. More importantly, prior to your completing treatment their mission is to ensure you have the confidence and tools you need to overcome any difficulties during your journey of recovery.
