The supportive living services in this apartment vary depending on which program you’re in. They offer three programs, one of which is supervised apartments. The other programs include one that has services 24 hours per day and one with apartments that serve as supported transitional housing for mentally ill, homeless adults.
While in the apartments, you’ll have rehabilitative services for mental illness and co-occurring mental health disorders. Treatment includes symptom management and psychiatric medications. You’ll also get referrals for dental, eye and medical care as well as nutritional services.
The rehabilitative services include help from masters level clinical specialists who will address the individual needs of each client. You’ll learn how to structure your daily activity in a productive manner and get help enhancing your life skills such as how to shop for clothes, develop a budget, do your banking and use public transportation.
Vocational rehabilitation is also part of the program. Vocational rehab programs typically provide career counseling and help with your resume, interview training and skills assistance.
