About Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center – Los Angeles
Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, located in Los Angeles, California, offers behavioral health care to youth and adults up to the age of 59. The residential program offers 24/7 support at three separate residences. The homes are for those who have been discharged from acute mental health settings, such as psychiatric inpatient units. By moving into one of the residences that support those who have come out of an acute inpatient setting, clients are able to slowly transition into a slightly less structured environment. Mental health and behavioral modification can continue under the direction of a therapist at this stage of care.
The outpatient program is a therapeutic support program that provides treatment for severe mental illness, chronic illness, dual diagnosis, medical concerns, psychological concerns, and more. Clients will live at home while meeting with their mental health counselor on an as-needed basis. Clients may also be referred to a psychiatrist for additional care.
