Located in Cookeville, Tennessee, Generations Mental Health Center gives individuals of all ages a chance to recover from mental health challenges, including co-occurring conditions intertwined with substance misuse issues. Looking into their case management and community support services, I saw that they can assist with community resources, even to the point of helping you with housing, employment and education. They can help you coordinate between therapists, psychiatrists and your primary care provider in order to give you a full spectrum of care. They can also help you figure out issues with your insurance or medication and assist in developing treatment plans.
Their crisis intervention and stabilization services can provide immediate support if you’re in the middle of an urgent mental health crisis. They can also refer you to a higher level of care, such as residential treatment or inpatient care, if they determine that outpatient services aren’t enough for you.
They have a residential treatment option called the Schuyler House, which is a co-ed residential facility that can accommodate up to 14 residents. This place offers both private and semi-private rooms and provides a structured environment to help you focus on life skills and learning how to reintegrate back into the community in a healthy way.
