About Genesis Club – Appleton
Genesis Club is a meeting facility for drug and alcohol rehab recovery meetings located in Appleton, Wisconsin. They provide a safe and comfortable place for various recovery groups to hold 12 Step meetings. They occasionally hold events for the 12 Step community as well.
Any meeting that is held in this facility must fulfill an educational or charitable purpose. Meetings are held from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. The meeting rooms can accommodate both large meetings and small ones.
The best thing about this place is the wide variety of meetings that they have. Each day begins with a Start Your Day Right Meeting which is sponsored by Alcoholics Anonymous. It is often helpful to discuss what is bothering you and affirm your sobriety before dealing with a stressful day. They are not directly affiliated with AA, but many AA meetings are held there.
They have meetings that are centered around different substances as well as gender specific meetings. People who only speak Spanish will be able to find a meeting there as well.
They have sessions for people who struggle with mental health conditions and substance use disorder at the same time. They also have groups for people who have loved ones in recovery.
Genesis has been around ever since 1982. They know how hard certain holidays can be for people in recovery to deal with. You will always be able to find a fun and sober holiday party through them. In many cases, the party will be held right at this location.
