Mainly known for their specialized work with men struggling with sex addiction, Gentle Path at The Meadows also offers support for co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders. The Meadows isn’t just a one-size-fits-all program either. Instead, every man who walks through their doors is met with understanding, individualized care and respect.

The Meadows is in-network with Sana Benefits, Multiplan and TRICARE. However, the financial coordinators also work with Humana, Cigna, United Healthcare and a few other insurance plans.

Gentle Path makes it clear that they take the idea of treating the whole person seriously. Whether it’s alcohol, drugs or sex addiction, the team at Gentle Path focuses on getting to the root of what’s driving destructive behaviors. There’s a heavy focus on trauma-informed care.

Not only do they offer one-on-one counseling but a ton of other cool programs like expressive arts, somatic experiences, holistic experiences, spirituality counseling and auditory therapy. Plus the facility itself has a lot of relaxing and healing amenities like an expressive arts room, climbing wall, equine therapy, Tia Chi, sand volleyball and a labyrinth.
