Global Healthcare Systems provides a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services for alcohol and chemically dependent individuals in a non-residential setting. The program is in Edgewood, Maryland, near the U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground established in 1917.
Their outpatient services include substance use disorder treatment and outpatient mental health clinics. The substance abuse disorder treatment programs help you overcome the devastation that drugs and alcohol addiction can create. The specialized programs include a standard outpatient treatment program that may run from 16 to 26 weeks, depending on your customized treatment plan.
The Intensive Outpatient Program also called an IOP typically has three to six hours of classes each week for 16 to 26 weeks. They work closely with the criminal justice system and provide DUI and DWI alcohol education programs and classes that are 12 weeks in length. They also offer alcohol and drug urine testing and early intervention for alcohol and drug education programs.
Alongside the substance use disorder treatment programs they also provide a medication assisted treatment clinic if you are addicted to opioids. This program also includes case management and an intake assessment so you receive Suboxone and counseling simultaneously.
This helps you to recover from an addiction and go back to a productive and healthy life. Counseling programs can include standard Outpatient Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment programs. It can also include a psychiatric rehabilitation program which they have called the Mentoring Program.

They use evidence-based therapy programs and case management. They treat a variety of mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and coping skills.
