About Grace House-Memphis-Bellevue – Memphis
As the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll and the home of the blues, Memphis, Tennessee has been long treasured for its impact on American music. It’s also home to the CARF accredited residential program Grace House Memphis Bellevue. Since 1976 they’ve provided substance abuse and co occurring disorder care to thousands of adult women experiencing poverty, homelessness and other barriers. The best part is they’ve never turned anyone away based on finances.
Their long term residential program provides a safe living space for voluntary and court ordered women. You’ll benefit from round the clock support and encouragement as you make strides in recovery. One standout feature that caught my eye was their home like environment. They create a space where you feel welcome and comfortable among peers. That way you’ll have no distractions and can focus solely on recovery.
I also think it’s great that their programs are gender specific. They understand that gender can have unique biological and environmental effects on addiction in women. They tailor their program to teach you more about these factors. You’ll have a non judgmental space to open up with women on similar paths. You can share your story and learn more about the experiences of women you resonate with.
Their focus on holistic healing is fantastic. You can access a customized treatment plan with integrated whole person interventions. They strive to help you address family issues, trauma, employment and other barriers. Focusing on these factors alongside addiction can further heal your mind, body and soul. You’ll participate in spiritual support, life skills classes, job readiness training, housing assistance and case management services to connect with crucial resources.
