About Green Oak Ranch – Vista
Green Oak Ranch, situated in scenic Vista, California, is a drug rehab program that is Christ centered and serious about your recovery. Their primary level of care is their residential program, which lasts nine months and places you on an idyllic, rustic ranch with over 100 acres of land and activities. As a Christian program they put a lot of emphasis on spiritual development in their programming, but you’ll also partake in recovery meetings, learn about work ethic, and be guided through a social model that involves group living and a plethora of help services.
This social model involves a lot of different things, but the core of the program is its individual and group therapy offerings. Individual therapy is important because it lets you speak with a professional therapist one on one in order to really dig deep into your past and identify any traumas, triggers or root causes that led you to where you are today. In group therapy, on the other hand, you’ll focus more on socializing with your peers and learning about yourself through their stories. Sometimes you learn the most about yourself by listening and relating to others in the same boat as you.
